Job Summary

As AI & LLM Engineer (Senior - Lead) at Accenture, you will play a pivotal role in developing large language model (LLM)-based applications. You will have the opportunity to build, train, and fine-tune LLMs to improve performance, accuracy, and alignment of general-purpose models. You'll guide a team of engineers while staying hands-on — integrating LLMs and LLM applications into products and services that drive meaningful business outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize AI prompts to improve model output quality and reliability.
• Take ownership of technical designs, code development, and component test execution to ensure alignment with functional specifications.
• Develop a comprehensive application and component strategy for one or more programs, encompassing both user experience and backend code.
• Build, train, and fine-tune LLMs to improve performance, accuracy, and alignment for client use cases.
• Develop and integrate LLM applications into client products and services end-to-end.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical direction and hands-on guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders, translating AI capabilities into clear business value.

Qualifications

• Experience in Python, Java, or Golang development.
• Experience in REST API design and integration.
• Experience in prompt development and prompt tuning.
• Experience with cloud platforms — GCP or AWS.
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Hugging Face is a plus.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managing technical delivery across client engagements.
• Strong communication skills — able to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Work Arrangement

This role requires to work at either the company office or the client site, subject to project and business requirements. The work location may change based on operational needs, and the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work at both locations as directed.
