YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage critical, global trade & compliance policy ensuring import/ export documentation and processes function according standard operating procedures and meet / exceed mandated trade guideline requirements.
Works across region import/ export / trade Compliance Units to ensure their processes are
compliant in order to effectively move freight throughout the region and global markets.
Manage the standardization of processes, standard operating procedure, training, and ongoing support to the Trade Teams.
Manage all product flow that meets international trade compliance requirements and that documentation controls are in place to support full trade & compliance.
Ensure all regional employees associated with trade & compliance and supply chain operations are trained and accountable
Manage the relationship and coordination between Manufacturing, Customer Service, Seed Regulatory, Legal, Stewardship and Research to ensure compliance is understood supported and effective.
Manage external relationship with Customs, Agricultural Ministries, Seed associations and other relevant stakeholders to stay current with legislation, regulation and to affect positive change with the help of counterparts.
Accountable in day-to-day Import and Export operations to maximize the reliability, timeliness, and cost effectiveness of the country's supply chain
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelors/Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain
At least 2 years' experience in manager level and 3-4 years' experience in Import or Export with SAP knowledge
Familiarity with various logistics modes including ocean, air, rail, truck, and parcel
Very good in communication, and collaboration skills
Trade and Compliance, Supplier Management knowledge strongly preferred
