Job Description

Prepare and assist in producing salads, appetizers, cold dishes, dressings, sauces and other Cold Kitchen items.

• Support preparation for restaurant and Banquet operations, ensuring timely and consistent production.

• Follow recipes, portion control and presentation standards.

• Assist with Banquet preparation and large-volume production when required.

• Ensure proper storage, labeling and rotation of ingredients and prepared products.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.

• Follow food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards at all times.

• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.

• Support senior chefs and work effectively as part of the kitchen team.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a Cold Kitchen or similar culinary position is preferred.

• Experience in a premium hotel, restaurant, or banquet operation is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and food safety.

• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.

• Good communication and a positive attitude.

• Flexible to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
