Senior Marketing Manager, GrabFood & GrabMart

1. Eaters/consumer marketing (B2C) ; responsible for strategizing and execution of users acquisition & retention, communications and campaigns to achieve business and brand metrics.
2. Merchant marketing (B2B) ; Develop end-to-end marketing to acquire new merchants, engage & equip them with marketing tools and unlock their growth on Grab Platform and become their partner of choice.
3. Strategic Partnerships (for GrabFood & GrabMart): Develop strong co-marketing campaigns to secure long-term marketing investment from strategic partners as one of the revenue streams.
We are looking for someone with a strong marketing strategy background and creative mindset. With Grab's fast paced environment, you will need to be able to plan the strategy while navigating through the chaos and taking hands-on actions in a timely manner. You need to demonstrate analytical thinking and share performance and key learning to key stakeholders. The successful candidate should adapt well to the change or unexpected situations and be able to lead >10 people in the team.


The day-to-day activities:

Define both consumer and merchant marketing strategy for responsible verticals including GrabFood and GrabMart both in bkk and other cities.
Work closely with business leads to develop strongly differentiated value propositions and drive product adoption with deep understanding of local market and local consumer insights with the help from our marketing analytics and consumer research teams.
Drive business growth across all target segments via acquisition and retention initiatives by working closely with Business leads, demand planning, Marketplace and Merchant Team.
Drive GMS (Grab Marketing Services) through marketing campaigns monetisation with merchants and co-marketing investment with strategic partners (FMCG).
Responsible for the end-to-end design and execution of strategic campaigns including concept ideation, media and demand planning, Merchant Pitch, go-to-market strategy and budget planning. React fast to mid-campaign performance and optimise in between campaign activities and deliver post mortem of the full campaign.
Work with all key stakeholders and supporting functions (internal and external) to deliver high-quality work for social media, KOLs, creative, performance marketing, PR, media buying, events, etc. for Grab.
Budget, profitability and operational efficiency: Develop short-term and long-term budgets for marketing activities to achieve key business metrics. Monitor performance improvement from both conversion volume and cost-of-conversions.
People development: Inspire, guide and develop a customer-first country marketing team. Inculcate data-driven and positive work culture, and guide team members in personal growth and career development.


GabFood & GrabMart 's success metrics for the role:

Drive Users Acquisition and Retention.
Drive Business Growth (GMV, Revenue).
Drive Brand Funnel and magery.
Drive Eater and Merchant's NPS (Net Promoted Score).
Drive Campaign Monetisation and Merchant Participation.
Drive Strategic Partnership Monetisation (with long-term co-marketing investment).


The must haves:

Minimum 7-9 years of marketing experience.
FMCG/agency or consulting background is preferred.
A natural leader who has the ability to motivate and coach a team of diverse team members with different experience levels and skillsets.
Commercial acumen - ability to develop strategy based on strong understanding of key business needs.
Problem solving mindset - anticipate challenges and proactively propose solutions.
Familiar with the entire marketing mix - you have a good knowledge of how and when to leverage different marketing channels from above-the-line and below-the-line communications for brand activation.
Excellent knowledge of the Thailand market, deep understanding of consumer insights and media landscape.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate clearly in both written and spoken English.
Impeccable organization skills and attention to detail.
Results-oriented and data-driven: Able to make data-informed decisions for a marketing plan. Proven track record of utilizing data in forming innovative and interesting ideas that are successfully operationalized into impactful marketing campaign execution.
Resourceful and creative: Knack for identifying great marketing creative. You work well with creative people, knowing how they need to be briefed and managed in order to deliver the most impactful creative work.
Highly detail-oriented: Ensure high standards of quality of all marketing and communication materials.
Relentlessly driven and seeks challenges: Willingness to drive growth and able to embrace and tackle challenges.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint. Familiar with remote working/collaboration tools such as Google Docs, Zoom & Slack.
