Specific Accountabilities
Sales and Business Development

• Achieve sales and EBIT targets for the departments
• Achieve faster-than-market growth through proactive and innovative business development and marketing
• Work closely with own sales teams and from other business units, freight, logistics, ground transport and branches to expand market
• Work closely with counterpart (especially Fairs and Exhibition units) within the Schenker network to promote and develop business
• Manage and coordinate day-to-day operations ensuring optimized use of services and excellent service to customers
• Works in coordination with marketing events such as Local Organizers, Government Organizer, and Overseas Organizers
• Attend to customers and overseas queries and provide appropriate solution

Operations, Quality, Efficient and Optimized Cost

• Responsible for overseas and domestic shows/shipments from end to end 
• Ensure actual cost/income is entered in operational system in a cosset and timely manner to reduce accrued costs/income
• Ensure adherence to quality, health, safety, security, environmental and other compliance standards and regulations
• Ensure compliance to customs and other relevant government rules and regulations
• Ensure that the completed jobs are closed within 6 months after last invoicing date
• Contributes to the total effectiveness of the department, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as positive way
• Problem analysis and problem solving

Administration

• Provide monthly reporting, business development to the immediate supervisor
• Conduct monthly department reviews
• Estimating, billing reporting and invoicing for marketing fee and expenses
• Any other task assigned by immediate supervisor
• Maintain and follow company rules, regulations and Health, Safety and Environmental Standards

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Freight Forwarding and Custom for both Air and Sea
• Good command on spoken and writing Thai and English
• Experience in exhibition & removals industry would be preferred
• Understanding of Exhibitions & Removals market
• Understanding of new technologies and how they can be applied to marketing
