Regional Project Manager - Global Payroll Solutions

IVL has implemented a Global Payroll Solution aligned with SuccessFactors and S/4 HANA to simplify and standardize payroll data, processes and practices globally. The Regional Payroll Project Manager acts as the primary regional contact for site HR/payroll teams, Finance/FICO, vendors and integration partners during implementation and post-implementation operations. The role drives timely delivery, issue resolution, adoption, vendor coordination, reporting and continuous improvement of payroll solutions and local payroll integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Implementation

Lead regional payroll projects across assigned entities in APAC and EMEA regions

Manage implementation and integration of global solutions (ADP) or local solutions with SuccessFactors and related local payroll integrations.

Develop, monitor and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies and risk mitigation plans.

Facilitate and guide site HR, payroll and Finance/FICO teams through project activities, testing, readiness, go-live preparation and stabilization.

Support descoped sites, M&A activities and global HRIS initiatives where payroll solution alignment is required.

Stakeholder & Site Engagement

Serve as the single point of contact for regional site HR/payroll teams for project questions, requests, escalations and status updates.

Build trust and effective working relationships with local HR teams to ensure engagement, ownership, accountability and timely completion of activities.

Lead regional/country-level discussions to communicate project progress, gather input, address concerns and agree next steps.

Coordinate with internal project teams and senior stakeholders to align delivery with business objectives and local requirements.

Vendor & Partner Management

Act as regional contact for payroll vendors and integration partners, including ADP, Coforge and local payroll providers as applicable.

Coordinate with vendors to resolve implementation and service issues, support contractual compliance and monitor adherence to agreed service levels.

Ensure sites are properly set up for billing and service support at go-live and after implementation.

Monitoring, Reporting & Governance

Track and report project status, risks, issues, milestones, solution utilization, adoption and corrective actions.

Collect inputs and prepare clear weekly/monthly status updates and leadership reports.

Maintain project documentation to support transparency, accountability and auditability.

Track Capex and relevant project cost items where assigned.

Change, Risk & Continuous Improvement

Identify risks, trends and root causes; recommend practical solutions and contingency plans.

Proactively manage escalations, inquiries and stakeholder concerns through structured follow-up.

Drive continuous improvement in payroll accuracy, process efficiency, support quality and solution adoption.

Mentor new team members and share project/solution management best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent experience.

5+ years' experience as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator or equivalent role in implementation projects.

Experience with HR and/or payroll business processes.

Demonstrated project management knowledge and practical delivery experience.

Experience managing vendors, integration partners and cross-functional teams across regions.

Global and cross-cultural work experience, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders across multiple geographies.

Knowledge of HRIS platforms, payroll software and integration protocols.

Experience with SAP HCM, ADP GlobalView/Celergo or similar global payroll implementations is preferred.

People management experience is advantageous where the role includes mentoring, team coordination or functional leadership responsibilities.
