Manager, Category Planning & OmniChannel

atAdidas (Thailand) Co., Ltd.
Role Purpose
Align and implement integrated marketing communications of global and area range initiatives at trade level as well as achieve optimal results at sell-in and sell through levels across key accounts given specific range focus and roll outs driven by the area category management team.
Accountabilities
  • Rationalize the category financial targets across channels and range segments
    • Lead and drive category planning to reflect the optimum product investment that will drive marketplace segmentation and growth
    • Align and activate the category financial targets for the country as per APAC guidelines in terms of net sales, margins, sell through, stock turn, market share
    • Drive the GTM process in co-operation with the local Sales, local planning, in line with APAC to ensure country needs and parameters for delivery of category targets are met.
    • Drive sales and standard margin targets across channels and manage deviations in a timely manner
    • Provide insights on sell-in and sell through movements of range roll outs and priorities at trade and/or account level
  • Effective implementation of Integrated Marketing Communications effort at trade level
    • Work closely with AP to align with the sales team the local category range and distribution channel strategy by defining concrete guidelines on product availability per retail door and distribution channel.
    • Identify and align with the Brand Activation team the effective trade marketing Plan for the defined key accounts at set resources (SWB)
    • Manage activation of sell-out plans (end-to-end responsibility) at trade level in collaboration with relevant sales and marketing functions.
    • Develop and manage relevant account support to manage sell-in/sell through targets
    • Monitor and provide timely feedback on Trade Marketing activities based on agreed key performance indicators
    • Manage delivery key concepts at account level
  • Support sell-in and key account pre-line meetings
    • Drive the range and channel segmentation across accounts
    • Provide timely sell-through feedback to manage financial targets across categories
    • Provide the Sales team with relevant sell-in tools for pre-line and sell-in meetings
    • Monitor market impact of area range driven at specific distribution channel
    • Manage retail roll outs timing and support requirements

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills / Addendum
  • Degree in Business/Marketing Management
  • At least 4 years of marketing management experience with a recognized top tier brand, with at least 3 years in product management; Exposure to other marketing disciplines preferable, e.g. merchandising, brand communication, or sales experience; Must have the ability to influence others within an organization. Result-oriented; Strong numerical skills; Willing and able to travel on a regular basis
  • Strong PC background, Advance in MS Office especially Excel
  • Good command of English
  • Retail/apparel/ fashion/ FW background would be preferably
