Digital Marketing Manager

atLub D Bangkok Hostel

The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for growing online sales in our digital channels across all of the existing and new properties in the future. This includes driving qualified traffic to our website as well as maintaining strategic content and landing pages on our websites. This position will identify, research and analyze potential opportunities for growth through new digital strategies or content opportunities. This role will work with many cross-functional partners to investigate issues, share insights and solve problems, so collaboration and communication are critical for this role.

  • Coordinates the execution of paid and/or digital acquisition tactics through internal procedures and any approved agencies and partners (ex: PPC, SEM, SEO, Display, Programmatic, Paid Social, Social, Mobile, etc)
  • Manage the content and image updates for all sections of the hotel's website and affiliate partner websites, as well manage content and imagery on the OTA sites (i.e. Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz, Booking, Agoda, Hostelworld etc.)
  • Ensures all online marketing channels are aligned with marketing calendars and business needs
  • Maintains local search databases and content distribution platforms
  • Works with our properties to develop and maintain content to drive organic traffic to websites
  • Creates superior levels of quality content, style, and usage consistent with standard principles of web content and corporate brand guidelines
  • Performs research, defines target audiences, and develops digital marketing strategies
  • Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures for own website
  • Oversee design ie., Facebook, landing pages, Website, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.
  • Conducts analytic deep-dives of critical business issues that impact performance and translate the findings into actionable recommendations
  • Daily observation of business performance to identify risks, new opportunities and industry trends
  • Responsible for agency management to ensure campaigns are delivering on desired KPIs and stay on budget
  • Manage Content (with the Content Manager) & Updates with the support of Sales, Revenue Management and Operation including:
  • X building and maintaining room packages
  • X building and maintaining seasonal pages
  • X update content to reflect the present month
  • X manage pop-up and floating promotions
  • Keep photo gallery updated and current on the website and other channels as necessary.
  • Liaison between room reservations and corporate, as far as the listing of online room packages and booking issues, etc.
  • Manage monthly E-blasts
  • Administrative responsibilities as needed daily, weekly and monthly including but not limited to phone interaction, special projects and events, and submission of all monthly expenses according to the department, purchase orders, check requests and consistent reporting regarding results in all related areas of Digital Marketing.
  • Performs research, defines target audiences, and develops digital marketing strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent background
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in digital marketing, marketing campaigns, content marketing and/or analytics
  • Comfortable with pulling and manipulating data using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or other analytic tools
  • Comfortable using the Google AdWords advertising platform
  • Good experience in running Google AdWords search/display campaigns (both agency and within AdWords tool)
  • Good understanding of Social Media (e.g. Facebook & Instagram) boosting and advertising techniques
  • Results driven individual
  • Strong knowledge and passion for the digital and online space
  • Demonstrated ability to use the results of the analysis to make effective strategic decisions and recommendations
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Must be highly organized, detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
  • WordPress Content Management System (CMS) knowledge is a plus,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Basic HTML knowledge is a plus
