Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-End Closing & Financial Review

    • Oversee and review the monthly closing process of assigned BUs to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
    • Validate accounting entries to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis

    • Analyze Profit & Loss statements and financial performance against targets.
    • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Business Performance Management

    • Manage and monitor the daily financial and operational performance of assigned BUs.
    • Provide BU with accurate and up-to-date financial data and insights to support business decisions.
    • Ensure BU has the right information and guidance to achieve performance targets.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting

    • Prepare short-term (1-year) forecasts and long-term (5-year) financial plans in line with business and corporate strategies.
    • Compare forecasts with historical data and prior budgets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Partner with BU management to align financial forecasts with operational strategies.
  • Internal Controls & Process Improvement

    • Ensure proper financial controls and compliance across reporting and analysis.
    • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification is a plus
  • 5–8 years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, audit or accounting
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., TFRS, IFRS)
  • Proven experience in performance management, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to partner with business leaders and provide actionable insights
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, financial modeling, and advanced Excel
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken (able to prepare reports, present, and communicate effectively in English)
