Position Summary

Role and Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Pursue market leadership via understanding the value chain of online and traditional businesses and secure the market leadership by managing market distribution trends.
  • Develop and administer tailored e-commerce strategies for Samsung products (IM & CE) in close collaboration Category Management, Performance Marketing, B2B, SCM teams that reflect the needs of specific business units, product lines, or categories and are in line with the overall strategy while still maintaining the strong dealership / supply chain relationships.
  • Manage and develop online sales initiatives, short-term and long-term strategic plan to grow online e-store sales and to create new business and enhance existing business in Direct to Customer (D2C), EPP and Staff sales channels.
  • Review sales and trade plan to drive and meet sales target including sell-in and sell-out platform (Trade in/Up, EIP, EPP), logistic methodologies and inventory management & control weekly, monthly, and annual sales revenue by account. Identify areas of opportunity and effectively develop e-Commerce solutions.
  • Monitor demand forecast to make sure that stock is available for sales.
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with other members of the cross functional team supporting the e-Commerce strategy.
  • Increase the number of customers by optimizing performance through e-shop development and management.
  • Understand market and consumer and be able to analyse and propose promotion that match to each target group
  • Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact within the e-Commerce organization for cross functional partners acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritize, develop, manage, implement and e-Commerce initiatives.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management /direct supervisor.
  • Manage team under supervision and build sales team collaboration to reach sales goals and increase sales productivity.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • This position will manage overall E-store KAM including IM and CE functions
  • Manage marketing budget and P&L of the assigned product category (Mobile + add on tablet, APS)
  • Continuous monitoring and evaluating current situation to measure current sales and market situation and make recommendation for improvements as needed to Top management
  • Manage internal stakeholders and minimize channel conflict


Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications / Key Skills Required:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of e-Commerce concepts and principles (sales, product management, marketing, Trade, Merchandising, fulfilment, customer service, etc.) and familiarity with best practices and web-based marketing is essential.
  • More than 8 years of Sales / Key Account management and 4 years' of successful team/people management experience, preferably in online FMCG, Pure Player and e-Commerce capacity.
  • Have a systematic and logical approach to problem solving and a capacity to work around problems.
  • Ability to adapt and respond quickly to a fast changing environment.
  • Have a well-organized project management approach.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and presentation skills. Ability to use data to make informed commercial decisions.
  • Ability to influence, manage stakeholders and take on needs across the business with all key stakeholders to achieve the goal
  • Independent and entrepreneurial, able to identify and act on opportunities to improve sales. Particularly from new channels. Take initiative on sales and promotion ideas.
  • A team player who contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Thai and English
