The Head of PR is a key person in the Marketing team who must plan, recommend, and implement the PR strategy at regional level (6 countries). With your knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in PR, you must develop a PR strategy (online and offline) & take the lead to coordinate the execution of this strategy. As an internal thought leader, you must inspire and coach all stakeholders (CEO and management team) and lead them to world class standards, with a deep knowledge of how to build a solid regional brand.

Key Responsibilities

  1. PR strategy and content development

Develop concepts and contents both in Thai and English (press release, photo release etc) to ensure that TrueMoney is perceived as a strong regional brand Create and develop appropriate press activities in accordance with the annual communications plan Assess all media inquiries including magazine, newspaper, TV and respond in a timely manner and tactical needs Maintain an updated PR calendar of events, prepare PR budget Plan and execute press briefings/ conferences and supervise any writing, editing and translations of any press materials Handle crisis media communications with support and guidance from CEO and CMO Keep abreast of competitor communications strategies and track their activities in the market.

  1. Be one of the key stakeholders in the company Collaborate with brand team to develop and implement effective branding concept Collaborate with digital team to identify the synergy between online and offline Collaborate with business team to support big campaigns (product launch, big promotions, new features etc) Ensure timely reporting of PR results to management team.

  2. Manage and coach the team Train and coach an "in house" PR staff + manage the PR agency Coach the team tobuild strong relationships with key journalists Challenge the team to think out of the box and be creative in PR channels

  • Minimum of 5 years in the PR world with successful experience as a team leader
  • PR experience at a regional level is a plus
  • Excellent relationships with media and press (IT , Finance, Business )
  • Logical, with strong analytical skills and keen attention to details
  • A "do-er" who gets things done in a timely manner
  • Team player and a coach with high affinity to lead and develop teams
  • Fast learner who can proactively assess cost-benefit relationships
  • Highly committed with strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Experienced in establishing brand awareness through online and offline channels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Thai
