We are looking for a commercially minded legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced multinational environment, enjoys partnering closely with business leaders, and is motivated by the opportunity to shape governance, compliance, and operational success in a complex manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities;
Corporate Governance & Compliance
Act as the primary legal point of contact for all Thailand operations
Ensure compliance with Thai corporate laws, regulatory requirements, and statutory obligations across all legal entities
Lead board and shareholder governance processes, including the preparation of resolutions, meeting minutes, and maintenance of statutory registers
Commercial & Operational Legal Support
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, including:
Vendor and supplier contracts
Manufacturing and production agreements
Service and consultancy agreements
Intra-group and intercompany arrangements
Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice to support manufacturing operations and business objectives
Identify and mitigate legal, compliance, and operational risks while enabling business growth
Stakeholder Management
Key Stakeholders: Thailand Country Leadership Team, Plant Operations, Regional Legal Team, and Corporate Functions
Partner closely with Thailand country leadership and plant management teams on strategic and operational matters
Collaborate with regional legal colleagues to ensure alignment with broader business and legal objectives
Reports to: Asia Operations Legal Director
Requirements
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), admission to the Thai Bar and/or Lawyer Council qualification is an advantage
Experience 8+ years of post-qualification legal experience, ideally gained within multinational companies, leading law firms, or a combination of both
Strong experience in Thai corporate governance, corporate secretarial matters, and commercial contract drafting, review, and negotiation
Prior exposure to the manufacturing, industrial, or operations-driven environment is highly preferred
Sound knowledge of Board of Investment (BOI) regulations and compliance requirements
Experience supporting or advising on medical device regulatory matters is essential
Proven ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice while balancing legal risk and commercial objectives
Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to engage and influence senior business leaders
Pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex operational challenges
High degree of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in managing sensitive legal and compliance matters
