Project AdministratorJohnson Controls supports customers with building technologies and engineering solutions that help project teams deliver safely and efficiently. In this role, you will support project operations across multiple APAC sites through data management, system maintenance, reporting, coordination, and construction & commissioning document control.

Role OverviewYou will keep project tracking systems accurate and up to date, help site teams access the latest documents and templates, and support reporting that improves visibility for decision-making. This role is well suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating across sites and functions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and organize construction and commissioning documentation in a structured and systematic manner, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and easy retrieval.

  • Control document workflows including submission, tracking, distribution, and response coordination across GC platforms and internal teams.
  • Maintain document control logs, records, version control, numbering, filing, storage, and retrieval for both electronic and hard copy files.
  • Support document preparation by ensuring proper formatting, compliance, system access, and archiving activities.
  • Monitor and verify data entries from site teams, follow up on gaps, and ensure timely and accurate updates.
  • Maintain and continuously improve data tracking templates and reporting structures, aligning historical data with current standards.
  • Organize project data from multiple sources so it is structured, accessible, and ready for reporting and analysis.
  • Prepare reports on project progress, cost, and performance to support visibility and decision-making.
  • Ensure consistency in data structure and reporting formats across sites or regions.
  • Support issue tracking, data visualization, project schedules, procurement documentation, and office purchasing activities as needed.How You Will Do It
  • Take ownership of data quality, document control, and daily follow-up with accuracy and accountability.
  • Stay close to site teams and internal partners, respond quickly, and remove obstacles that slow down delivery or reporting.
  • Use a continuous-improvement mindset to refine templates, trackers, and reporting formats as site needs change.
  • Work as one team across APAC by sharing information clearly, building trust, and respecting different perspectives.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's technical degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in project support, data management, or administrative roles; experience in construction, commissioning, or engineering projects is an advantage.
  • Good command of English in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
  • TOEIC score of 600, IELTS overall score of 5.0, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Query, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • High accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large volumes of data.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills when working with cross-functional teams and site personnel.
  • Familiarity with document control processes such as submittals, logs, version control, and archival practices.
  • Willingness to support multiple APAC sites and remote coordination.Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting reporting, data visualization, and performance tracking.
  • Exposure to construction, commissioning, or engineering project environments.
  • Experience developing training materials or supporting users with data handling and system usage.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking data or project scheduling tools.
