Country Head, Google Customer Solutions Sales

Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As a Country Head of Google Customer Solutions (GCS) Sales , you will manage and help lead a high-performing Client Sales team to grow the business of key advertisers mainly across the Thailand market. You will use innovative methods to share industry insight and propose product solutions, while also employing quantitative abilities to make effective, strategic decisions. You require a unique blend of strategic and analytical thinking, business acumen and operational skills. In addition, you will develop and implement best practices for client interaction, business and services for Google Ads products, and lead the team in becoming our clients' trusted advisor.

You will be joining a fast-growing and exciting team and be a key contributing member of the GCS leadership team in Southeast Asia. From a business perspective, you will help evolve the business process, craft the prospect and customer experience, and ensure our salespeople have the best skills in the industry. Operationally, you will run an organized data-driven team to ensure we maximize our opportunity and glean key insights to drive future potential.

  • Provide thought leadership and become a recognized industry expert externally, lead engagement for key clients and agencies, together with your team.
  • Own execution of key growth-driving initiatives, securing support from internal stakeholders at regional and local levels, and leading strategy setting and execution across other functions.
  • Ensure team readiness to deliver complex advertising solutions and create a culture of business innovation and advertiser success on the team.
  • Build team structure, recognize leadership potential and support career development through enhancing capabilities within the team.
  • Drive advertising business growth mainly in Thailand, as well as in some other markets in Southeast Asia. Build and execute on business, marketing and operational strategies.
  • Minimum qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of combined experience in technology, advertising, management and consulting.
  • 5 years of sales leadership experience, managing a team and attracting and growing talent. - Relevant experience in the Thai market.
  • Ability to speak and write Thai and English fluently and idiomatically.
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • 17 years of combined experience in technology, advertising, management and consulting.
  • Experience in building relationships with C-level executives. Experience in Online Media.
  • Proven ability to grow and lead a Sales team with a strong track record of success in sales, and in driving Sales and Operations teams.
  • Forward-looking vision to drive business growth and to meet business objectives; ability to act as a key spokesperson for Google in Southeast Asia and to communicate a commercial strategy tailored to the market while implementing Google's corporate vision.
