Job Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Administrator with specialized expertise in SAP S/4HANA Rise environments to join our dynamic IT team. This role is critical in ensuring the robust, secure, and high-performing operation of our cloud infrastructure, with a particular focus on our SAP S/4HANA Rise landscape. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud computing principles, SAP Basis administration, and the unique aspects of managing SAP S/4HANA in a cloud (SaaS/PaaS) model.

Job Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure components (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networking, load balancers, firewalls) across various cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), data encryption, network segmentation, and security audits. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).

• Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Proactively monitor cloud resource utilization, performance metrics, and system health. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimize resource allocation, and implement scaling strategies (e.g., auto-scaling) for optimal performance and cost efficiency.

• Cost Management: Monitor cloud spending, analyze billing reports, and implement strategies to optimize cloud costs without compromising performance or availability.

• Backup & Disaster Recovery: Design, implement, and test robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery (DR) solutions for cloud-based systems and data.

• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) to streamline routine tasks, deployments, and configurations.

• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for complex cloud infrastructure issues, working closely with other IT teams and vendors as needed.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for cloud configurations, policies, procedures, and architectural diagrams.

• SAP S/4HANA Rise Landscape Management: Administer and maintain the SAP S/4HANA Rise environment, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or Private Cloud Edition (PCE) context.

• SAP Basis Administration: Perform core SAP Basis tasks specific to S/4HANA, such as client management, transport management (TMS), user management, role assignments, and authorization maintenance.

• HANA Database Administration: Monitor and manage the SAP HANA database underpinning S/4HANA, including performance tuning, backups, and recovery procedures.

• System Monitoring & Health: Utilize SAP Solution Manager and other monitoring tools to proactively monitor the health, performance, and availability of the SAP S/4HANA system.

• Integration Support: Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support SAP S/4HANA application deployments, interfaces, and integrations with other systems.

• Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with SAP and other third-party vendors for critical system issues, support requests, and service enhancements specific to the SAP S/4HANA Rise offering.

• Adherence to SAP Best Practices: Ensure that all administration activities align with SAP's recommended best practices for S/4HANA Rise.

• Understanding Shared Responsibility Model: Clearly understand and manage responsibilities as per the RISE with SAP shared responsibility model, distinguishing between customer and SAP-provided services.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in Cloud Administration, with a significant portion focused on enterprise-level environments.
• At least 2 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration, including hands-on experience with SAP HANA.
• Proven experience in administering and supporting SAP S/4HANA, ideally within a RISE with SAP or other cloud-managed environment.
• Strong proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate).
• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA system architecture, components, and administration tasks.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, virtualization, and storage in a cloud context.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud and SAP environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• SAP S/4HANA certification or SAP Basis certification is a plus.
• Good command in English (Minimum 750 TOEIC score).
