Job Description

• Develop and implement comprehensive ESG focused communications and stakeholder engagement strategy in alignment with the Bank's mission and values as well as business priorities
• Plan, develop and manage the SCB's Annual Sustainability Report, outlining the Bank's ESG-related efforts and results in compliance with the international standards/ guidelines including but not limited to Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), CDP, Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
• Build internal understanding and alignment around the Bank's sustainability commitments and approaches as well as help the Bank establish a strong reputation as a responsible company and citizen through passionate storytelling
• Work with cross-functional team to develop high quality and innovative sustainability content as well as partner with PR, Marketing and Internal Communications teams to ensure consistency of messaging across various media and platforms
• Help position SCB as a leader on corporate sustainability by preparing comprehensive responses to external ESG/ Sustainability assessments, including but not limited to DJSI, MSCI, FSTE4Good, SET THSI and Fair Finance
• Develop strategic partnership with local and global sustainability organizations and entities (e.g., UNEPFI, TCFD, WBCSD, TBCSD, BOT, BRN) to seek collaborations and contribute to global/national agenda initiatives
• Support the implementation of sustainability projects/ initiatives as needed
• Manage responses to internal and external ESG/ sustainability inquiries

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in sustainability profession/ consulting or corporate communications and engaging with stakeholders on ESG/ Sustainability topics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Thai and English. Ability to write about complex subjects in a clear, concise, creative and compelling manner
• Good knowledge in sustainability standards/ guidelines/ tools (e.g. GRI, DJSI and SET THIS) and broad knowledge of key sustainability topics and trends (e.g. sustainable finance, climate change, data and technology innovation)
• Ability to address potential ESG/ Sustainability issues and improve existing ideas in a way that manage business risk and increase new opportunities. Skilled in moving from analysis to action development or performance improvement.
• Proven working experience in project management
• Creative thinker and problem-solver with a collaborative spirit and forward-thinking mindset to drive positive change
• Strong interpersonal to interact with multiple internal/ external stakeholders and build mutually beneficial relationships
