A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Senior Legal Counsel for the Gas Services division, you will be the trusted legal partner for Central Projects across the EMAA region. Your day includes advising project stakeholders on complex commercial and corporate legal matters, reviewing and negotiating critical project agreements, and supporting the business with sound legal risk mitigation strategies. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams—project management, sales, procurement, and senior leadership—ensuring compliant, informed, and commercially balanced decisions throughout project execution.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Provide expert legal support to project teams by interpreting and applying laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements across the EMAA region.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of project‑related commercial agreements, ensuring clarity, risk mitigation, and business alignment.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle—including drafting, negotiation, execution, amendments, and close‑out—to support successful project delivery.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and develop mitigation strategies for large‑scale energy projects.
• Support dispute resolution processes such as mediation or arbitration in collaboration with internal teams and external counsel.
• Conduct legal research and provide timely, actionable guidance to business partners for compliant and efficient operations.

What You Bring

• You are a qualified lawyer with an LL.B., J.D., or equivalent degree and are admitted to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• You bring a minimum of eight years of post‑qualification experience gained either in-house or at a reputable law firm, with strong grounding in commercial and corporate law.
• You have demonstrable experience in the energy, construction, or industrial projects sector, enabling you to advise effectively on complex project environments.
• You possess strong legal analytical skills and are adept at drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts while managing legal and regulatory risks.
• You demonstrate a solid understanding of regulatory compliance and corporate governance, ensuring sound and responsible business operations.
• You bring strong negotiation capabilities, analytical and strategic thinking, and effective stakeholder management, supported by solid business acumen.
