Finance & Controlling, Internship Program (Process Optimization, Data Analytics/Visualization)
atSiemens Thailand Ltd.You will be working alongside the Commercial team based in Bangkok and will support the team in all Finance Process optimizations. You will evaluate existing processes, propose process optimizations with a focus on digitization and will play a pivotal role to lead the Finance community into the digital age. Further you will support the Controller in the day-to-day Controlling tasks and monthly closing activities with a focus on functional costs controlling. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on Controlling experience while at the same time playing a pivotal part in the Finance digitization roadmap of SMO Thailand.
What are my job responsibilities?
- Finance process automation & digitization.
- Together with the subject matter expert...
- Analyze and redesign internal processes in order to identify pain point in the workflow.
- Define and document the requirements together with the subject matter. experts for the implementation of robotics process automation.
- Design, develop and implement Dashboards and Reports to support. Business decision making by meaningful data analytics.
- Monthly closing activities / day to day controlling tasks.
- Together with the Controller perform...
- Cost center controlling for the costs of our SMO TH functional departments.
- Ensure timely cross charging of services within the region.
- Cost controlling of services received from other Siemens entities.
- Support in the annual Budgeting process.
- Ad-hoc management reporting.
- Support in the creation of the monthly reporting package to the country management.
What do I need to qualify for this role?
- Thai national or Foreign National currently residing and studying in Thailand in the level(s) or Bachelor's or Master's Degree student in the field of Finance and/or Accounting.
- Good command of English communication skills, written and verbal (TOEIC: 700+, IELTS: 6.5)
- Computer literate and Tech-savvy i.e. MS Office 365, Google Suite, Tableau, Power BI
- Proven experience in data analytics/visualization and complex problem solving (advantageous)
- Value and detail driven, ability to learn and adapt quickly, not afraid to speak up.
- Flexible in terms of work hours/days for an internship duration of 3 to 6 months depending on availability and agreement.
