Visual Merchandising Manager - Fashion

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • To act as a guardian of the Chanel image across the country
  • To convey the story of the collection and the right image through visual merchandising and window display.
  • To remain constantly updated with the latest International and regional guidelines, ensure high execution and consistency of the brand's image in all areas related to merchandise presentation throughout the Chanel boutiques
  • To implement all visual merchandising and window displays and to ensure the proper in-store presentation of the brand to support business needs.
  • Work closely with the Marketing / Product of the Fashion and Watch and Fine Jewelry divisions for all practical necessities related to product presentation
  • In charge of the local budget for visual merchandising.
  • The position reports to local Fashion General Manager and functionality reporting to Regional Visual Merchandising Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • POS tools orders
  • Ensure Image consistency and implement window displays and merchandise presentation in the market
  • Ensure 'One Boutique One Story' concept is implemented at boutiques.
  • To plan window decors and visual merchandising fashion buys for each collection
  • To prepare and install all special events/shows / collection previews involving product display
  • Ensure that the window props designed by regional visual merchandising are in conformity with the local constraints of the windows
  • Responsible for the good installation of window decors according to regional visual merchandising design and technical information
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to produce and install necessary window props/visuals
  • Respect the window planograms for fashion and convey the same fashion message as the Global office
  • Give feedback to regional visual merchandising regarding any missing/damaged window décor or missing merchandise which would not allow a proper window display
  • To lead, manage and train the local visual merchandising, visual merchandising Contact / Liaison and boutique staff to insure the best visual merchandising standards maintenance
  • Alignment with Paris and Regional directions in all aspects of visual merchandising
  • Evaluate the work of each displayer and visual merchandising Contact / Liaison and give feedback to Country management and regional visual merchandising after each visit from regional visual merchandising and year end
  • Work closely with head of boutique to achieve high execution as well as address each boutique's specific needs
