What's your role in the team?

Associate Merchandisers play a crucial role in driving retail and ecommerce performance at Pomelo Fashion. Working closely with Area Managers and retail operations your primary responsibilities revolve around ensuring customer satisfaction by making sure stores have the right stock mix for the customer base and reducing out of stock sizes and products.

• Data Analysis
  • Use data to identify trends, best-selling items, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Draw actionable insights, such as identifying slow-moving products or overstock situations.
• Optimize product availability instore
  • Ensure the right stock, is in the right stores at the right time
  • Transfer inventory across stores to maximize sales and reduce overstock
• Assist with store range planning
  • Help plan the product range, ensuring a balanced and appealing assortment.
  • Know the store core customers and rebalance product range in store to maximize sales and conversion
• Discount Planning
  • Identify slow sellers and take action in store to improve the sell through rate
• Cross functional communication
  • Work closely with campaign/ retail and logistics teams to ensure we are working together to achieve our goals

Who are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree in any related field
• Strong aptitude with numbers, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
• Desire to develop merchandise planning skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets (Advanced Pivot Table, V-Lookup, etc.).
• Fluent in English
• 1-2 years of experience in fashion merchandising/ ecommerce/ retail management a bonus
