Your day as a CI Engineer (Kaizen focus)
The main responsibility of this position is to lead and drive the Kaizen culture across the organization, facilitate continuous improvement activities, and deliver sustainable productivity, quality, and cost improvement results through employee engagement and CI methodologies.
To do so, you will be in charge of:
ïŋ Leading and driving Kaizen activities across the organization, promoting a continuous improvement culture and engaging employees at all levels to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
ïŋ Facilitating Kaizen workshops, Kaizen events, and cross-functional improvement projects to achieve measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
ïŋ Initiating, leading, and executing continuous improvement projects while providing technical support to address quality, productivity, safety, waste reduction, working processes, and operating systems through Kaizen using continuous improvement (CI) methodologies, tools, and practices.
ïŋ Utilizing Value Stream Mapping (VSM) tools to analyze non-value-added (NVA) activities and lead times, followed by implementing improvements.
ïŋ Managing the Kaizen pipeline, monitoring project progress, tracking results, and ensuring sustainability of implemented improvements.
ïŋ Coaching, mentoring, and training employees and supervisors on Kaizen principles, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
ïŋ Facilitating in-house training on continuous improvement tools and methodologies for employees.
ïŋ Supporting and addressing urgent production issues through problem-solving efforts and long-term improvements.
What do we ask from you?
Must have qualifications
ïŋ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering.
ïŋ At least 3 years of experience in multinational companies as a Lean Engineer, Process Engineer, or Continuous Improvement Engineer.
ïŋ At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience leading Kaizen activities and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
ïŋ Solid knowledge of production technologies and continuous improvement tools (such as SPC, 5S, Kaizen, etc.) as well as project management.
ïŋ Proficient in English.
ïŋ Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
ïŋ Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
ïŋ Energetic with the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing circumstances.
ïŋ Strong project management skills.
ïŋ Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
Preferable qualifications
ïŋ Overseas working experience and/or working experience in a Western company is preferable.
ïŋ Gained TOEIC score above 700 or similar English proficiency test result is preferable.
ïŋ Having the ability to use the FlexSim program will be given special consideration
ïŋ Proven experience in facilitating Kaizen workshops/events, coaching teams, and engaging cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable business improvements, leading Kaizen activities, especially reaching the competition rounds, will be given special consideration
