Job Purpose
Responsible to support a high standard of actuarial governance at all times and working with the team to ensure all internal and external actuarial governance requirements are met. In addition, support new or ad-hoc requirements as well as working collaboratively with other teams and departments.
Key Responsibilities
Actuarial governance
- Support the overall management of actuarial governance framework, ensure compliance with internal and external requirements by coordinating with the relevant teams. (e.g. GWS, ICFR, GO policy/guidelines, OIC requirements).
- Support to ensure compliance with local Actuarial policies and demonstrate compliance to Group office as per agree timeline.
- Support review of product approval for new products in actuarial area, including methodology and assumptions used.
- Support Project Gemini and meet any new governance requirements as a public company.
Actuarial assumption setting
- Support reviewing on compensation scheme of all channels. Ensure the correctness of calculation and source of information. Coordinate with other department to ensure the appropriate of cost estimation.
- Projects
- Support on new or ad-hoc requirements and any assigned projects or lead/support work on high priority deliverables with the Actuarial department.
