Job Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design, engineering studies, and detailed engineering for rotating equipment.

• Prepare and review engineering documents, including datasheets, design calculations, performance curves, ITPs, drawings, piping schematics, testing reports, and technical reports.

• Evaluate rotating equipment and material specifications in accordance with project requirements.

• Participate in technical clarification, technical bid evaluation, and vendor document review.

• Prepare Material Take-Off (MTO) and support procurement activities.

• Support FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and construction activities.

• Prepare construction scope of work and provide engineering support throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• Mechanical Engineer: Minimum 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.

• Senior Mechanical Engineer: Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.

• Experience in at least 3 Brownfield Modification Projects.

• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, including:

• Centrifugal Pumps

• Centrifugal Compressors

• Reciprocating Compressors

• Screw Compressors

• Positive Displacement Pumps

• Air Compressors & Dryers

• Fans

• Agitators

• Mechanical Seals & Bearings

• Familiar with international standards such as API, ASME, ANSI, and ISO (e.g. API 610, API 617, API 618, API 674, API 675, API 676, API 682, API 692, ASME B73.1, ISO 1940-1).

• Knowledge of lateral & torsional analysis, spare parts selection, and construction procedures (WPS/PQR/WPQ, NDE, Weld & NDT Map, Fabrication Procedure).

• Experience in FAT, SAT, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning.

• Construction or offshore project experience is an advantage.

• Familiarity with hazardous area classification is preferred.
