Jobs Description:

1. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reliable, and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources (structured and unstructured).
2. Develop and optimize data models for analytics and reporting purposes.
3. Collaborate with data analysts, business stakeholders, and other IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver business-aligned solutions.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot data systems for issues related to performance, quality, and availability.
5. Contribute to building a modern data infrastructure using cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies.
6. Automate manual data processing tasks to improve efficiency.
7. Document technical solutions, architecture, and processes for transparency and knowledge sharing.

Jobs Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, database management (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, Apache NiFi, or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala for data manipulation and automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and privacy frameworks in a financial services context.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Banking or financial services industry experience, especially in retail or wholesale banking data solutions.
• Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Data Engineer, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer, Google Professional Data Engineer).
