Job Purpose

We are looking for a a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Intelligence & Performance Analyst who can combine analytical thinking with hands-on technical skills to transform complex business questions into actionable insights.

You will analyze operational data, track financial and product performance, and translate complex datasets into actionable business dashboards.

The ideal candidate is not only technically strong in SQL and Python, but also able to understand business problems, identify meaningful patterns from data, and build clear visualizations for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Analytics & Coding: Extract, integrate, clean, and analyze large-scale datasets using SQL / BigQuery and Python.
2. Business & Customer Analytics: Translate business questions into structured analytical frameworks and identify actionable insights across areas such as customer behavior, product usage, transaction activity, revenue impact, channel migration, and customer value.
3. Insight Generation: Identify why it happened, what drives the change, and make recommendations to senior management on what the business should do next.
4. Dashboard & Data Visualization: Build / Maintain dashboards and reporting views using tools such as Power BI / Tableau / Looker Studio or equivalent, to track business performance, financial drivers and deliver insights for both operational monitoring and executive decision-making.
5. Reporting Automation: Build automated data pipelines and monitoring reports.
6. Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with Business, Product, and IT teams to translate business questions into actionable data analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in data analyst, BI or related analytic role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and large-scale data manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with Python for analytics and automation, particularly Pandas or equivalent data-processing libraries.
• Ability to translate an ambiguous business problem into an analytical framework and measurable hypotheses.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify patterns, drivers and business implications, rather than simply reporting numbers.
• Experience developing dashboards, data visualization and automated reporting.
• Practical experience using Generative AI / LLM tools as part of an analytics or productivity workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with banking, financial services, digital products, customer analytics, or transaction data.
• Experience working with high-volume transactions or customer-level datasets.
• Experience developing automated analytics pipelines or reusable analytical tools.
