Lead Quality Assurance Engineer (Open Banking)-Krungsri Nimble
Manage Team Size Responsibility: 13 (API QA Engineers)

Location: Bank of Ayudhaya (Krungsri) - Rama 3 Head Office (Hybrid work : onsite 2Day/Week)

Role Purpose

The QA Lead is responsible for leading the Quality Assurance team to ensure product quality across APIs, web, and mobile platforms. This role oversees test strategy, automation frameworks, and best practices to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure software products. The QA Lead will also coach and develop the QA team to maximize performance and career growth.

Responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Process

• Define and implement QA strategy, processes, and metrics to improve product quality and testing efficiency.
• Establish and maintain standards for API testing, automated testing, and regression coverage.
• Drive continuous improvement in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and QA practices.

Leadership & People Management

• Manage and mentor a team of 13 QA engineers (manual + automation).
• Assign resources, set priorities, and monitor progress to meet project timelines.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and career development planning.

Test Execution & Automation

• Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting across functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Ensure strong coverage of API testing (REST/GraphQL), automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Playwright, JMeter).
• Collaborate with DevOps and Engineering teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate into test strategies.
• Communicate quality status, risks, and issues effectively to senior management.
• Advocate for quality standards across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in QA, with at least 3+ years in a leadership/manager role.

• Strong experience in API testing and automation frameworks.

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, JMeter, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills.

• Experience in performance testing, security testing, and cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• ISTQB or similar QA certifications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Coaching and mentoring mindset.
• Quality-driven and detail-oriented.
