Our Organization is known as Process Development and Integration (PDI) and is located at Seagate Korat Slider Factory. We are looking for an Engineer with extraordinary potential to take responsibility for Cleaning Process Development. Our team's mission is to develop new slider processes or technology to meet future product roadmap requirement and to achieve Best In Class cleanliness and defect quality for our new products.

About the role - you will:

• Be responsible for cleaning process development to meet new product roadmap requirements and to meet best in class cleanliness and defect quality for a new product
• Be responsible for new product corrosion performance process robustness improvement
• Act as project owner and track the progress to other sites
• Work closely with operation shop floor teams (manufacturing, process and equipment engineering) to enable successful execution of new technology into the process
• Be in charge of transferring technology projects between different sites

About you:

• Excellent technical background with an understanding of surface chemistry and various surface analytical metrologies
• Capable of communicating in a complex situation with the cross-function support team
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Excellent teamwork, leadership, organization and presentation skills
• Ability to effectively plan, control and take responsibility for timeline and status update
• Fluent in English communication, both spoken and written

Your experience includes:

• Bachelors or higher degree in the Engineering discipline and/or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of flammable and corrosive chemicals handling
• Proficient technical background with an understanding of process design, engineering and chemistry including familiarity with surface chemistry lab analysis metrology equipment such as TOFSIMS surface analysis techniques, Ion Chromatography (IC), Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), Liquid Particle Counter (LPC), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), RAMAN
• Understanding of process development

Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with almost 20,000 employees. Here, our team produces cloud-based storage equipment, from individual storage components to finish drives.
