Our organization is Slider process engineering team who working control slider fabrication. The Bar lap process is one of major process in slider that directly contributed to critical slider both electrical and mechanical characteristic which is related to magnetic head performance in Hard disk drive.

About the role - you will:

• Process SPC monitoring, root cause analysis, containment, corrective and preventive action by applying 8D concept.

• Developing process to be more robust with FMEA and all 6 sigma tool.

• Reviewed /updated control plan and provide training to Manufacturing.

• Lead to finding action provided for downstream feedback related to Pre DLC scratch Failure analysis and provide short term and long term fix action, design control plan, and process monitoring to be more effective.

• Responsible for finding Bar lap's indirect material issue to provide technical data investigation and coordinate with SQE to feedback supplier for corrective action.

• Working with Manufacturing, Product Engineer, Quality Engineer, Maintenance Engineer to solve problems in production line .

• Lead to mechanical chip defect improvement in Bar Lap area daily monitoring , in line mapping to identify root cause and create work instruction (WI) for best practice process to operator.

• Issue and run engineering build evaluation for process improvement.

• Plan, control to ensure process quality compliance to all Seagate requirement certificates standard such as ISO

Your experience includes:

• Understand in LAB tool functional such as AFM ,DSC ,SEM, EDX,FTIR, Rheometer, Viscometer

• Project management, process design, Chemistry ,Physics , Mathematics , Statistic , 6 sigma, and Testing materials.
