Mission/purpose of the job

• The Senior KD Engineer is responsible for defining work instructions (WI), developing, and improving KD Pick & Pack operations, including container loading, to achieve customer expectations with minimum cost and low or zero UCR, while contributing to overall organizational performance.

• Operates under TMBP & TSA environment.

• Influences KD process efficiency, quality, cost control, and customer satisfaction

Purpose of the job/

Key responsibilities

Set and own KD pick & pack process flow end‑to‑end

• Lead definition, development, and improvement of KD Pick & Pack operations.

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of KD Pick & Pack processes for new market launches or new KD requirements.

• Define and adapt KD packing concept, WI, and container loading standards to meet market‑specific requirements.

• Coordinate cross‑functionally (Production, Quality, Packaging, SCM, Supplier, Logistics Operations) to ensure smooth KD readiness.

• Ensure cost, quality, UCR, and KPI targets are achieved during new implementation.

• Support trial, validation, and stabilization phase until full mass operation.

• Define, deploy, and monitor logistics KPIs in line with UDPS and IM targets (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity)

• Apply advanced Monozukuri concepts (Muda/Mura/Muri elimination, flow levelling, standard work, visual control) to logistics system design

• Lead Smart & Modern initiatives such as digitalization, automation, data‑driven decision making, and logistics dashboard development.

• Perform system usage, flow design, RCA methodology, and standard work development.

• Perform logistics standards, WI, and system rules, ensuring robustness and long‑term process stability.

• Proactively identify future logistics risks and improvement opportunities, supporting medium‑ to long‑term competitiveness of UDTO BKK operations.

• Lead and report project progress, risks, and results to management and ensure standardization after implementation.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Preferred educational and/or training qualifications and certificates

• Bachelor's degree or master degree in Logistics, Engineering or a related field.

Preferred experience and knowledge

• Ability to work successfully in a global matrix organisation.

• High energy level, comfortable performing multiple initiatives in conjunction with day-to-day activities.

• Experience in Logistics and Warehouse processes

Necessary technical/functional/language skills

• Strong communication skills in local language and English.

• Solid analytical skills and demonstrated ability to solve problems.

• Solid conflict handling skills.

• Able to use ERP,MRP or related planning ,Logistics, Material handling warehousing software.
