TheLorry is looking to hire a graphic designer to join our Local Marketing team. If you have a love of productivity, a great design aesthetic, telling stories visually and the ability to make anything you touch look gorgeous, we'd love to work with you.

• Your primary responsibly will be visual design for our marketing efforts. You'll work with our Local Marketing team to produce display ads and landing pages that advance the brand while converting to conversions. You'll work with our Country Manager (and others!) to make presentations more engaging. You'll help out with internal and external communications, and you may make the occasional meme. You'll be responsible for defining and refining our visual identity and elevating our brand across all platforms and message. Having a strong design opinion without a stubborn ego would make you the perfect designer for our collaborative team.
• In addition to marketing work, you will also work cross-functionally. TheLorry has market-leading product that serves both B2C and B2B - you'll need to be both flexible enough to cater to specific needs and bold enough to push our designs farther (and with more personality) than typical companies. We're working on projects that solve inefficiency in logistic industry that have never been build before, so you'll also need to be experimental and comfortable going back to drawing board a few times!
• Work with our marketing team to produce a variety of outward-facing marketing material, such as landing pages, email templates, display ads, presentations, beautifully-styled data visualizations, branded products, event signage, etc.
• Work with the product team to turn complex features into beautiful, usable interfaces
• Contribute to and produce visual design language, patterns, and assets for TheLorry and its products
• Produce visual design style guides for each product and maintain them as they evolve
• Add beauty, elegance, creativity, and boldness wherever needed

• 5 years designing in an agency or in-house setting
• Strong command of common design tools
• Solid design fundamentals such as knowledge of composition, form, shape, and color, layout, typography
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills - you'll need to convey and debate design rationale with team members
• Strong portfolio showcasing print, web and/or mobile design
• Knowledge of current web and mobile design trends
• Enough passion and vision to push for beautiful designs, but enough humility to recognize when the tradeoffs favor usability or conversion
• Ability to create pixel perfect mockups and visual design specs and design assets ready to be used by the marketing and development teams
• Attention to detail and willingness to take the extra hour to make something immaculate
