Working for a busy travel company, this role will be responsible for the control, payment and reporting of the accounts payable ledger. Sun Series Travel is expected to grow both locally and globally, so we expect to have a qualified Finance team to be able to grow alongside. As the Company grows, there is likely to be progression for exceptional candidates

• Recording all payments out
• Payment to suppliers by cheque, cash, credit card or electronically
• Reconciling the ledger to the bank statement , the booking system
• Provide a monthly aging of the ledger with commentary to the FC
• Consistently follow the Company policies and procedures. Produce reports for exceptions
• Develop meaningful reports to present to management in terms of the control and review of the ledger i.e. Debit balances, duplicate payments
• File all supporting documentation in line with procedures
• Provide cashflow forecasting
• Ensure the security of any cash and banking information
• Reconciliation to the supplier statements
• Journal processing
• Provide relevant documentation for the auditors within set deadlines
• Adhoc tasks as requested by the FC

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years experience in auditing field, accounting / financial working environment (having auditing experience from Big 4 is a plus)
• Knowledge of Thai Accounting, Auditing Standards (International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus), and internal control
• Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables and formula)
• Able to analyse financial status and operating performance
• Working knowledge in taxation matters involving corporate tax, personal tax and indirect tax
• Fluency in written English
• Proven analytical skills and logical thinking
• CPA is a plus
• Able to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Displays proactive, meticulous, and responsible traits
• Able to work both as part of a team and independently, as needed
• Be flexible and organised
• Can do attitude
• High levels of integrity and confidentiality are expected
• Experience with Quick Books or a similar Financial ERP is a plus
• Experience in the Travelling industry is a plus
