Senior DevOps EngineerReport to: Technical Lead

About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of the engineering platform that powers our development and production environments.

This role focuses on enabling engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate reliable services at scale, while improving system performance, developer experience, and operational efficiency across a distributed architecture.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform & Infrastructure

• Own and manage the engineering platform from development to production

• Design and maintain scalable infrastructure on GCP

• Ensure consistency across dev, staging, and production environments

CI/CD & Release Engineering

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with strong quality gates

• Implement safe deployment strategies (e.g., rollback, progressive delivery)

• Reduce lead time from code commit to production

Distributed Systems & Reliability

• Improve observability, reliability, and performance across services

• Support microservices architecture and workflow orchestration

• Reduce system complexity and operational overhead

Developer Experience

• Define and standardize development "golden paths"

• Enable self-service tools for deployment, environments, and debugging

• Improve productivity across engineering teams

Observability & Incident Management

• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing across systems

• Improve incident detection, response, and troubleshooting

Security & Platform Governance

• Manage IAM, access control, and secrets

• Establish guardrails to ensure secure and scalable system operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with:

• Kubernetes

• CI/CD systems

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)

• Experience with GCP or similar cloud platforms

• Programming/scripting skills (Go, Python, Bash, etc.)

• Experience with observability tools (logs, metrics, tracing)

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed systems

• Ability to think in systems, trade-offs, and failure scenarios
