Delivering Deal Value
A career within Delivering Deal Value will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value on their deal transactions by solving transformational and other complex challenges. We focus on all operational aspects of a transaction, pre and post completion. We conduct pre deal and confirmatory due diligence, execute large-scale enterprise wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations on a wide range of functional and cross-functional areas.

Deals Strategy & Operations – Manager
Who you'll work with:
A career in our Deals Strategy & Operations (DS&O) practice will provide you with the opportunity to help clients unlock the potential of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, joint ventures and alliances. Our team provides strategic, commercial, operational and project management advice across the M&A deal continuum, from setting the deal strategy to post-deal execution.
Our team includes a diverse mix of people with relevant strategy, investment and operations experience combined with deep industry expertise. Our clients include regional and international corporates, leading private equity houses, family offices, major banks and investment funds.
We work closely with our colleagues in Tax, Legal, Valuation and Financial Due Diligence practices to provide clients with holistic answers to questions on combining and separating businesses. Together with our regional and global network, we help multinationals realise complex cross-border transactions and megadeals.

Market analyses and commercial due diligences to assess the attractiveness of investment opportunities.
Operations due diligences to identify operational risks and opportunities in a target company.
Value creation and synergy assessments to determine cost savings and growth potentials.
Post-merger integrations to combine organisational and operational aspects of merging companies.
Project management offices to help clients plan and execute large-scale mergers, carve-outs and restructuring projects.

What you will do:
You'll be based in our Bangkok office, but you will usually work directly with clients on-site to help them execute their projects.
Working with clients through all stages of their projects you'll identify any major issues, generate hypotheses against those issues, structure and perform analyses, identify creative but pragmatic options against potential scenarios, draw conclusions, make recommendations, develop plans to operationalize the agreed-upon strategy, and help execute those plans in a project management capacity. You'll direct and lead junior staff and small teams, while working closely with key client management.
Over time, you'll gain experience of industries and sectors, and with specific analyses and methodologies, building expertise in your chosen area.
Your key responsibilities require you to:
Frame and understand key client issues, processes and mandates, defining realistic expectations for the client, team, and PwC.
Employ scientific method and be hypothesis-driven to solve business problems, with high-level prioritisation on core issues for the client and problem at hand.
Direct and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex data, including market and competitor analysis (market size, drivers and dynamics), customer analysis and internal analysis (strategic, business model, financials).
Learn, develop and apply methodologies to solve specific client issues.
Plan, organise, setup, manage, facilitate, and track projects and workstreams.
Write, communicate, facilitate, and present cogently in English; to and/or for all audience levels of clients, internal staff and management.
Build solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive environment, lead teams to generate a vision, leverage diverse views, mentoring and developing team members throughout the course of every engagement.
Develop proposals, deliverables and reports using various software tools, in particular Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Multi-task and balance time effectively, maintaining a rapid pace without sacrificing quality.
What we expect from you:
Minimum 3-6 years of relevant experience in management or strategy consulting, M&A advisory, investment banking or corporate development role.
Experience with M&A preferred (but not essential).
University degree; Master's or MBA preferred (but not essential).
Strong proven academic and/or career track record.
Business, financial and commercial awareness with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel and work on-site with our clients for an extended period (up to several months depending on the project).
Comfortable building and managing productive, lasting relationships with clients and team members.
Fluency in English and Thai languages (spoken and written).
Excellent oral and written communication skills, able to interact effectively with all levels of management.
