QA Automation Engineer (Senior/Junior Level)

Job Overview

Involved throughout the development lifecycle as part of passionate and energize agile project team responsible in the quality assurance of software development with emphasis on ensure the quality of release, development and implementation of test automation.

You will be working closely with our cheerful and funny developers as they develop code to ensure requirements are met with the correct quality, and you will conduct manual and automated tests where necessary to ensure the software created is fit for purpose. Thinking “outside of the box” to understand the various scenarios and configurations that customers use to ensure customer quality is maintained and through doing so drive regression testing across the products. You will be responsible for defining and driving innovative automated testing strategies and toolsets into our overall development processes that support and enhance the current Quality Assurance processes and mentor team members on automation

Qualification

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in at less one of test automation framework (Cucumber is preferable)
• Experience in Web, API and Mobile testing
• Basic programming knowledge
• Self-management/motivation and eager to face challenge opportunity 
• Strong in communication skill both verbal and writhing (Thai/Eng.)
• Able to work closely with cross functional team members
• Familiar with standard QA process such as test suites/cases maintenance and defect logging
• Experience with Agile process
• Some knowledge in Unix/Linux

Senior Quality Assurance

Responsibilities:

• Be a pillar of agile practices.
• Take ownership of the testing process and drive all aspects of quality assurance.
• Take an assessment of all business requirements in the project and create test cases.
• Support the project team to design and develop acceptance criteria for user stories.
• Develop test cases and test data.
• Execute the relevant tests for projects such as regression tests, integration tests and etc.
• Work closely with the development team in the context of cross functional team to ensure the effectiveness and quality of the systems developed.
• Communicate test progress, test results and other relevant testing information to appropriate project stakeholders.
• Coaching QA and Junior QA.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years experiences in software testing.
• Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role.
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or any related fields.
• Be proactive to solve problems.
• Be able to keep commitment and responsibility.
• Be able to balance professionalism and relaxation in a workplace .
• Have self-learning and self-development capability.
• Self-managed. Ability to manage time and prioritization of tasks.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in using Git or Bitbucket is an advantage.
• Experience in using JIRA is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Performance testing is an added advantage.

Skill Requirements:

• Solid understanding of Software Testing methodologies.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to analyze complex system requirements and define test scenarios and cases.
• Review functional requirements, design documents, and bug descriptions.
• Experience in preparation of test data.
• Design and create test cases and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Execute and analysis test results.
• Experience in Agile / Scrum methodology will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of automated testing tools, like Selenium, Robot and etc. will be advantageous.
• Experience in the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Robot framework, Python, Shell script will be advantageous.
• Self-motivated, systematic and detail-oriented person, good team player and able to work under pressure.
