Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure complete process and product release of new components bought from external suppliers in cooperation with the supplier and development team (Project Buyer, Project Manager, Project Launch Manager, R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, etc.)

• Lead the application of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology by performing supplier APQP reviews, process audits/line reviews, and supplier capacity checks.

• Assure the safe launch execution.

• Actively participate in the DMSP (Sourcing Process).

• Support R&D, Project Buyers, and the Development Team in the supplier selection of new components from external suppliers during all sourcing phases.

• Ensure supply risk analysis evaluation in the early project phase, by the latest stage of the tender list definition, using the E-Sourcing tool.

• Participate in technical analyses and validate supplier solutions in terms of quality, technical/process solutions, capability, and timing, in line with the project team.

• Ensure lessons learned are applied through feasibility commitment and technical analysis approval.

• Ensure the implementation of commodity state-of-the-art and best-in-class standards/practice requirements in supplier processes through the application of the Commodity Quality Check List.

• Ensure the transmission and implementation of customer-specific requirements.

• Ensure the implementation of special characteristics and apply the appropriate control methodology.

• Validate the Supplier APQP Review conducted by or with the suppliers.

• Follow up on planning, execution, and completion of all tasks required for the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) evaluation and approval.

• Make decisions, solve problems autonomously, and escalate appropriately to upper management of the supplier and/or company.

• Work across a global, matrixed organization, sharing and learning best practices.

• Participate in relevant technical meetings with R&D and suppliers.

• Support any APQP reporting requested at plant, division, or company for the components managed by SDE.

• Validate the supplier action plan at project level and ensure its availability on the APQP database.

• Apply the APQP CQCL.

• Measure the effectiveness of the APQP process through reverse APQP process analysis, based on claims occurring before G7.

• Support the change management process and promote second sourcing.

Qualifications:

• Experience in supplier new project development related to injection molding, stamping, welding, and assembly processes.

• Fluent in English, with a TOEIC score of 700 or higher.

• Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to propose solutions, take responsibility, work under pressure, and manage supplier relationships.

• Effective negotiation and persuasion abilities, with experience in managing meetings and fostering a team spirit.

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in new component development, including supplier selection, requirement definition, Advance Product Quality Planning, verification of production capacity, validation of Initial Samples Control Reports, and the Production Part Approval Process.

• Experience in process auditing (qualified auditor according to VDA 6.3 is mandatory).

• Knowledge and practical experience with quality tools such as Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, Statistical Process Control, process capabilities, Pareto analysis, and problem-solving methods (such as 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Fault Tree Analysis, and experience capitalization).

• Familiarity with quality norms such as IATF 16949, and knowledge of quality, environmental (ISO 14001), and safety requirements (ISO 45001).

• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

• Willingness to travel (30–50%).
