Position: Senior Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy) to lead the technical development and engineering execution of utility-scale renewable energy projects, including Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Wind Energy Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Being responsible for solar assessment and estimation of energy production for solar projects under development phase and supporting cross functionally on-site suitability and site development.

• Undertaking and managing design and optimization of solar farm energy production and losses, as well as layout and conceptual design of solar farm.

• Responsible for the power plant grid connection.

• Developing project strategy, scope, schedules, resources, budgets for solar project.

• Requesting, assessing, and evaluating proposal from suppliers/contractors for solar project.

• Selecting solar farm components for life-cycle optimum design.

• Reviewing measurement campaigns, energy yield assessment studies, employer's requirements and specifications, detailed design drawings, project plans and procedures.

• Leading Technical due diligence.

• Develop effective relationships with all stakeholders in a governance compliance manner.

• Perform PV BESS Plant design using photovoltaic software to simulate and calculate power generation and energy yield.

• Design of the general layout of the photovoltaic power station, feasibility study and preparation of the photovoltaic power station, and design of the primary and secondary drawings of the electrical area of the photovoltaic power station.

• Perform electrical calculations (Cable sizing, UPS Sizing, Grounding Calculation).

• Master, understand and identify the key information of the project, and understand the technical specifications and requirements of components, combiner boxes, inverters, cables and other related equipment

• Responsible for the information collection and analysis of regional photovoltaic projects.

• Perform Technical Bid Evaluation.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical engineering.

• Experience in renewable energy project (PV, BESS, WIND) would be advantage

• Be able to independently carry out construction drawing design, photovoltaic design experience and on-site experience are preferred.

• Proficient in using AUTOCAD, SketchUp, PVsyst, Homer, and other relevant software.

• Coordinate and manage all kinds of resources required for the project, including human resources, equipment and materials, etc. Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and partners to ensure the supply and support of the resources required for the project.

• Being able to work under pressure with time limit.

• Willing to work in a multi-nationality team.

• Confident in attendance at meetings with foreign Clients with responses in English.

• Ability to travel.
