A World Environment Artist creates attractive and epic lands corresponding to the level-design. From futuristic cyber world to a classic fantasy like world, the artist is responsible for the organic environments of the game. Key consideration for this role include experience with hand painted art styles, foliage, terrain textures and other natural elements.

RESPONSIBILITY

• Create concept and color keys for outdoor environments.
• Sculpt and model 3D trees, rocks, grass, and other elements in each area.
• Hand-painted textures for grounds and other natural surfaces in each area.
• Working closely with Game Designers and other Artists.
• Communicate with Production, Design, and other departments

YOUR BACKGROUND

• 2+ years of experience in game development modeling and texturing natural elements.
• Background in art such as animation, illustration, design or traditional media
• A good understanding of modeling’s elements such as form, shape, structure, and silhouette. 
• Eye for light, shade, color, and detail in creating painted texture maps
• Self-motivation, good communications skills, and a great team-player attitude
• Knowledge and understanding of the League of Legends-like art style.
• A strong passion for developing and playing games.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
