ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of warehouse operations and logistics activities. He/She will lead a team of warehouse staff and coordinate with various internal departments, suppliers, and transportation providers to ensure timely receipt, storage, and delivery of goods. The Warehouse Lead will develop and implement improvement initiative to optimize warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

• Manage and lead warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping processes for an annual sales revenue.

• Develop and implement warehouse and inventory management to optimize space utilization, minimize stock discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory records for (1 external warehouse 3500sqm).

• Oversee the planning and execution of inbound and outbound logistics activities, including transportation, customs clearance, and documentation.

• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials and finished goods for production and customer orders.

• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff, providing training, coaching, and performance management to achieve operational excellence.

• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse and logistics operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

• Collaborate with suppliers, transportation providers, and customs agents to ensure smooth and cost-effective logistics operations.

• Continuously improve logistics processes, systems, and technologies to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and visibility across the supply chain.

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to warehousing, transportation, and inventory management.

• Implement and maintain appropriate security measures to safeguard warehouse inventory and assets.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, promotions, and special projects.

• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in warehouse management and logistics.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Warehousing, Logistics, or related field.

• Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations, with a focus on leading and managing teams.

• In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles and best practices.

• Strong understanding of transportation modes, customs clearance processes, and international logistics.

• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), Fourth-Shift software, and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to warehousing and logistics.

• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles is a plus.

• Professional certifications in supply chain management or logistics are desirable.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• A proven ability to simplify and present complex and esoteric Supply Chain information for senior managers to assist decision-making across the organization.

• Comfortable working to tight deadlines and to a consistent high standard with minimum supervision.
