Digital Ventures is hiring an Associate for its Corporate Venture Capital team to lead fund investment and management activities. We are a US$100 million fund with a mandate to invest in fintech/deeptech VC funds and startups globally. This role will provide great opportunity to get exposure to fintech and VC fund management.

• Investment strategy and deal sourcing
• Work with senior team members to develop investment thesis that meets strategic priorities of Siam Commercial Bank and/or Digital Ventures
• Source, screen, and qualify deal leads for investment.
• Develop an informed perspective of relevant technologies and build relationships with VC firms, startup accelerators, startup founders and innovation ecosystems
• Due diligence & execution of investment prospects
• Manage commercial and legal due diligence on investments, including competitive analysis, valuation modelling, preparation of investment memos, and deal execution under the supervision of senior team members.
• Negotiate and structure investment terms; work with legal advisors to draft and execute investment documentation
• Work with SCB investment, legal and compliance teams to ensure investments meet internal and Bank of Thailand guidelines
• Present investments to Investment Committee for investment approval
• Portfolio management, thought leadership, and knowledge transfer
• Proactively work with the management and board of international portfolio investments to execute growth and operational improvement strategies
• Mentor and advise Thai portfolio investments with company strategy, growth, fundraising, and exit activities via office hours and regular meetings
• Prepare market research and analysis for internal distribution or for public presentation in support of Digital Ventures' thought leadership and knowledge transfer initiatives

• Bachelor degree in related fields (engineering degree preferred); MBA a plus.
• At least 3 years of entrepreneurial, business development, product, banking, strategic consulting or venture capital experience
• Startup experience and/or knowledge of financial technology desirable
• Frequent international travel is expected
• Fluency in both Thai and English a must
