Junior CAD Designer

Reports to: CAD Engineer, Manufacturing Excellence Department

Responsibilities

• Prepare manufacturer's CAD files for Design Teams to easily review, ensuring they meet DY company standards.
• Prepare Render scanned files and Final CAD files to support CAD Teams.
• Pull and organize CAD files into appropriate folders according to collections and style numbers.
• Keep a daily log of print outs of CAD files that have been completed by manufacturers.
• Support the building of capabilities of CAD at the factories.

Qualifications

• Education: BA or BS degree in Engineering or Industrial Design with a background in jewelry design preferred or the equivalent in Jewelry Industry work experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Rhino 3DM CAD software.
• Experience with Sculpting Software such as 3D Coat or Z-Brush is a plus.
• Experience with Formlabs 3D printing machines and CNC machining are helpful.
• Proficient in Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Standard office equipment.

Requirements

• Able to be proficient in creating solid, workable polysurface files.
• Have basic working knowledge of mechanisms such as hinges and clasps.
• Good at English.
• Must be Thai national.
