The Assistant Training Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and training programs to help the Beauty Advisor Team develop competency and skill set to perform efficiently in ensuring retail excellence across department stores, Sephora and perfumeries.

THE ROLE

OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!

As our Assistant Training Manager, you play a critical role in ensuring retail excellence from our sales force across department stores, Sephora and perfumeries, as well as those of our retailers, such as Sephora cast members.

You will be reporting to Commercial Training Manager, and you will manage:

Training Programs & Materials:

• Devise and/or adapt training programs and materials, and deliver adequate training to enable field staff to effectively and qualitatively sell innovations and priority brands.

• Develop and implement training programs for field staff on skill enhancement, performance improvement, career development, and new hire orientation programs.

• Prepare and maintain training course materials, equipment and supplies, including products and tools. Plan, schedule, and inform the sales force about training events in advance.

BA Development & In-Trade Coaching:

• Uphold the high performance, grooming and behavioural standards expected of the sales force, and ensure BAs understand and uphold the same.

• Conduct regular OTJ training at all key stores and counters to help BAs sharpen selling competencies, overcome selling challenges, and assess BA potential and performance.

• Provide post-training reports to give ongoing perspective on individuals and teams in terms of competencies, learning needs and attitude.

• Spend 50% of his/her time in the trade and on the ground, possibly more in the initial year.

Retailer Engagement, Brand Love & Talent Development:

• Proactively engage with retailers' training department to schedule formal/informal, in-person and digital training sessions, ensuring Coty's key brands and products are always top of mind.

• Organize BA conferences twice a year, and engagement programs for Coty and Retailers' BAs to constantly drive brand love.

• Accelerate MU artistry, including grooming high potentials to become MU Artists and MU demo artists who can host counter workshops and in-person virtual consultations.

• Partner with Retail Operations to constantly assess and evolve the BA talent pool to anticipate business needs.

requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the beauty industry with background in training & retail operations

• Makeup experience is strongly preferred, makeup artistry experience preferred

• University Degree or above in related field

• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills, ability to lead large scale training conferences, workshops and live streaming activities.

• Individual must possess advanced research, creativity, adaptability and problem-solving skills

• Excellent English and Thai fluency
