About the role

We are seeking a skilled Bridges & Road Site Engineer to join our team on a contract basis in Chon Buri. This is a critical on-site position that will see you managing and overseeing the day-to-day engineering operations of bridge and road construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards, on schedule, and in compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. This role requires fluency in English or Chinese to facilitate effective communication with international project teams and stakeholders. The position is based on-site in Chon Buri, where you will work directly with construction teams, contractors, and project management personnel.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and monitor all construction activities on bridges and road projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, drawings, and construction standards

• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed reports on construction progress, quality, and any issues requiring attention

• Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and regulatory requirements at all times on site

• Manage and coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain project schedules and quality standards

• Review and verify material quality, testing results, and compliance documentation before approval

• Communicate technical requirements and project updates to the project management team and international stakeholders

• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, material documentation, and photographic evidence of construction progress

• Identify and resolve construction challenges and propose practical engineering solutions in liaison with senior engineers

• Support quality assurance activities and coordinate any required remedial works

• Liaise with relevant authorities and government agencies as required for permits and approvals

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

• A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in bridges and/or road construction site engineering

• Proficiency in English or Chinese language (written and spoken) is essential; bilingual candidates are highly valued

• Proven experience in site supervision, quality control, and material testing in civil engineering projects

• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and industry standards relevant to bridge and road infrastructure

• Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation

• Experience with site documentation, record-keeping, and reporting systems

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound technical decisions under pressure

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams

• Relevant professional certifications or memberships with engineering institutions are advantageous

• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in Thailand or Southeast Asia is preferred
