About the role

We are looking for a Senior / Junior Legal Counsel to support our Thailand operations by providing legal advice, contract support, compliance guidance, and risk management across various business functions. The role will work closely with internal departments and external legal counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and effectively manage legal matters.

🎯 What you'll be doing

• Conduct legal research on Thai laws, regulations, and policies relevant to company and factory operations, particularly procurement and purchasing-related matters.

• Provide legal advice and support for business decisions and day-to-day operations.

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate legal documents, commercial contracts, and business agreements.

• Advise internal departments on contract terms, corporate matters, and import/export trade compliance.

• Manage and coordinate local litigation and non-litigation matters, including communication with external legal counsel when necessary.

• Develop and deliver legal training programs to enhance employees' legal awareness and compliance.

• Support dispute resolution and cross-cultural or multi-jurisdictional legal matters.

• Identify legal and compliance risks and provide practical recommendations to mitigate potential risks.

• Maintain legal records, documents, and relevant regulatory information.

• Perform other legal duties and special projects as assigned by management.

✅ What you'll need

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Law. A Master's Degree is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of Thai laws, regulations, and policies relevant to business operations, particularly corporate, commercial, contract, and labor-related matters.

• At least 3 years of relevant legal experience for Senior level; Junior candidates with relevant experience are also welcome.

• Experience in the automotive, manufacturing, or other multinational companies is highly preferred.

• Candidates who have passed the Thai legal qualification examination or hold a Thai lawyer's license will be given preference.

• Proficiency in English and Chinese, with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong legal research, contract drafting, contract review, and negotiation skills.

• Good understanding of corporate law, commercial contracts, import/export trade compliance, and dispute resolution.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
