About the Role

We are seeking a EV Charging Site Engineer to support the development and installation of EV charging stations. This role is responsible for electrical design, installation permits, site surveys, quality control, project coordination, and on-site execution to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Design and standardize Single Line Diagrams (SLD) for EV charging stations and specify materials and equipment in accordance with quality and safety standards.

• Coordinate with relevant government authorities to obtain installation permits and approvals.

• Coordinate with the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) or Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) for power usage approvals.

• Review and control electrical circuit diagrams to ensure compliance with construction and electrical installation regulations and standards.

• Conduct site surveys and support on-site installation activities.

• Assess potential technical issues and identify solutions before construction begins.

• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders to resolve on-site issues and maintain project schedules.

• Monitor the quality of installation materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved electrical standards.

• Manage on-site operations, track project progress, and prepare real-time project reports.

• Identify potential project risks and coordinate appropriate mitigation actions.

• Prepare post-project reports, analyze issues encountered, and recommend preventive measures for future projects.

• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.

• Valid Electrical Engineering License and driving license.

• At least 2 years of experience in electrical systems, EV charger installation, or project management.

• Experience in EV charging infrastructure or electrical installation projects is highly preferred.

• Proficient in electrical circuit design and AutoCAD Electrical.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Good command of English, including technical communication and report writing.

• Chinese speaking/listening skills are an advantage.

• Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.

• Responsible, quality-oriented, and strong in problem-solving.

• Able to work under pressure, work on-site, drive, and travel to other provinces as required.
