Job Description

• Conduct site inspections to verify that construction work complies with approved drawings, technical specifications, applicable codes, and project standards.

• Perform material inspections and ensure all materials meet project requirements before installation.

• Prepare, review, and maintain QA/QC documentation, including Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Approval Requests, inspection records, and quality reports

• Monitor construction activities and identify quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances. Initiate corrective actions and follow up on implementation.

• Manage and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs) with contractors, clients, and project teams.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and third-party inspectors on quality-related matters.

• Track construction progress, identify potential risks, and support mitigation plans to maintain project schedules.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for construction-related issues in collaboration with engineering and project teams.

• Supervise subcontractors and contractors to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.

• Participate in daily site meetings, construction planning, and coordination activities.

• Ensure all site activities comply with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and actively promote a strong safety culture.

• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, inspection reports, progress documentation, and site photographs.

• Prepare QA/QC dossiers, test records, punch list documentation, and handover packages for project closeout.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, QA/QC personnel, and construction teams to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrument Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in site engineering, QA/QC, and construction coordination within industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, power, or energy projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction practices, installation methods, materials, and industrial project execution.

• Familiarity with applicable international standards, construction codes, and regulatory requirements.

• Hands-on experience with QA/QC documentation and processes, including ITPs, NCRs, CARs, material inspections, and quality audits.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical and quality-related issues on site.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

• Experience using document control systems and quality management tools.

• Professional certifications related to QA/QC, quality management, or construction management are an advantage.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under project deadlines.

• Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.

• TOEIC score of 500 or above.
