Scope and Dimensions

• Manage end-to-end material planning, procurement, import/export, and inventory activities.
• Ensure material availability to support customer orders, production requirements, and sales demand while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Manage overseas suppliers and coordinate purchasing, shipping, customs clearance, and delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, consumption, lead times, and demand forecasts to prevent shortages and excess stock.
• Calculate and monitor landed cost , including material cost, freight, duties, taxes, and other import-related expenses.
• Drive purchasing cost optimization through sourcing, negotiation, shipment consolidation, and supply planning.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Finance, and overseas factories to ensure smooth material flow.

Requirements of the job

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, material planning, supply chain, or import/export, with supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Strong experience in international purchasing, import/export procedures, inventory management, and logistics.
• Good understanding of landed cost, customs duties, freight, and international trade terms (Incoterms).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; Chinese or other languages would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong cross-functional communication and coordination skills.
