To serve as a Project Design Engineer responsible for planning and preparing project design activities, collecting project information from site surveys, performing calculations, and designing PV Solar Systems in accordance with international and Thai standards. The position is also responsible for project cost estimation, preparation of project proposal documents, providing guidance and consultation to team members, monitoring and controlling design activities to ensure they are completed according to the project schedule, reporting work progress to the Design Department Manager, and coordinating with relevant departments, teams, and external parties.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and prepare for project site surveys, including assigning personnel, scheduling appointments with clients, and preparing the required equipment and tools.

Review the accuracy and completeness of site survey information and documentation together with the design team for project design purposes.

Perform project calculations and design activities together with the design team using relevant software, including preparing preliminary project drawings and utilizing simulation/design programs such as

Helio, PVSyst, and SketchUp

Prepare project cost estimates and

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

, determine unit costs, summarize cost estimation information for relevant parties, and prepare material and equipment specifications for the PV Solar System.

Prepare project proposal documents and oversee the accuracy and completeness of proposal documents, including required approvals, signatures, and supporting information for project pricing negotiations with clients.

Coordinate with relevant individuals, departments, internal and external parties, and clients. Handover completed project information to the

Project Management (PM) Department

for further project installation activities.

Coordinate design-related matters, including design review and certification, and prepare drawings and supporting documents for submission to relevant authorities for permits and approvals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in

Engineering, Industrial Education, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering

, or a related field.

Minimum

3 years of experience in photovoltaic (PV) solar power generation systems

Experience in preparing and maintaining project documentation, data collection, and technical/project drawings.

Good verbal and written communication skills with

basic English proficiency

Good interpersonal and communication skills with clients, project teams, contractors, and colleagues.

Ability to manage emotions, work effectively under pressure, and handle challenging situations professionally.

Proficient in project design and engineering software, such as

MS Office, AutoCAD, Helio, PVsyst, and SketchUp

Valid driving license and ability to drive.
