Supervisor, Production Engineer

- Shopfloor current data analysis and reporting supporting superior.
- Troubleshooting for FE production processes
- Monitor and audits the performance of processes in term of equipment and makes recommendations for necessary continuous improvement to maximize process capability and productivity
- Determine the best options for process improvement tactics.
- Investigate, recommend and justify new technologies, manufacturing methods and equipment to meet competitive business needs and improve efficiencies
- Continuous improvement project along the FE processes in order to meet the productivity target.
- Support Product Development to ensure manufacture ability or minimize the risks associated with new products.
- Ensure product quality along the FE process
Key accountabilities:
Process sustainability
- Performs technical support activities to maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems
- Interface with other internal parties to ensure a coordinated design and complete engineering deliverables.
- Report and document any engineering related / process abnormalities.
- Analyse data to identify root causes of process problem and implement appropriate countermeasures.
- Advise on corrective and preventive actions and work together with Pex team to ensure FE internal process follow the WI and standard procedure.
- CI (Continuous Improvement) Project and FE Kaizen activity
Process Improvement
- Develop and implement process improvement to optimize machine, tools and equipment capability and productivity.
- Continuously to improve processes in regard to Productivity, Lead time, FROT, quality and cost.
- Perform statistical process studies.
- Analyse and improve workplace layout and process workflow together with Pex team.
Team development and Collaboration
- Coaching and mentoring the technical knowledge in process.
- Encourage and ensure the same view of direction and goal.
- Building and Develop team regarding to pride, passion and performance
- Analyze and improve manufacturing
- Monitoring modifications and upgrades, and troubleshooting existing processes
- Monitor and audits the performance of processes and equipment and makes recommendations for continuous improvement necessary to maximize process capability

- Work with vendors and internal resources to determine product specifications and arranges for purchase and installation of equipment, materials or parts for new products

- Document processes and works with QA & Production Manager to train operators and other personnel to meet process needs
- Support Product Development to ensure manufacture ability or minimize the risks associated with new products.

- Analyze and improve workplace layout and process workflow.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of engineering degree or higher in Production, IE, ME or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing, production, process engineer position
- Technical competency in analytical, problem solving skills, process management, change management and advanced statistical techniques is a plus.
- Strong to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
- Experience in continuous improvement (Lean or Six sigma Certification is preferred)
- Computer skills, Microsoft Office and presentation.
- Good communication of both written and spoken English.
