1 The Petroleum Engineer will optimize oil and gas production and perform reservoir management for Thailand BU fields. This position will report to the PE Team Lead.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
  • Perform day-to-day well surveillance, analysis, and optimization (SA&O), including remote compressor and PWRI to maximize production within facility limits
  • Generate and review required well work request (WWR) for well intervention, including well integrity related
  • Work closely with multi-discipline teams to continuously develop new/infill drilling projects to maintain well deliverability to meet production targets
  • Participate and work on the annual reserves update as per the CRS process. Perform P1D reserves evaluation
  • Manage well/asset integrity issues
  • Actively participate in weekly optimization meetings, initial completion review (ICR), and integrated platform review (IPR) meetings
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
  • Experience in production engineering and operations (well surveillance, analysis and optimization); Performance monitoring/improvement
  • Experience in reservoir engineering concepts and processes; including volumetric determination; rock and fluid properties; reserves estimation and asset/field development plan
  • Teamwork: Able to work as a team and cross-functional to achieve common shared goals. Able to work and align team direction to meet business objectives and exhibit good behaviors when dealing with others
  • Communication: Able to clearly communicate and articulate ideas and/or project results to internal/external stakeholders
