About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Strategy Officer to join our growing team on a full-time basis at our office in Huai Khwang, Bangkok. This is a strategic leadership position where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of our organisation. You will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies that drive growth, improve operational performance, and enhance our competitive position in the energy and sustainability market. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our business trajectory whilst leading initiatives that matter.

Key responsibilities

Develop, refine and communicate comprehensive business strategies aligned with organisational objectives and market opportunities

• Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive research and trend evaluation to identify strategic opportunities and threats

• Create detailed business plans with clear objectives, timelines, resource allocation and key performance indicators

• Lead cross-functional teams in the execution and implementation of strategic initiatives across the organisation

• Monitor strategy performance through regular reporting, data analysis and key metrics tracking

• Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies that support strategic goals and enhance business performance

• Provide strategic recommendations to senior management and executive leadership on business direction and growth opportunities

• Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships with internal teams, partners and external organisations

• Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships and new business opportunities through strategic assessment

• Support the development of annual budgets and forecasts based on strategic planning and market projections

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, Finance or related field; Master's degree preferred

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in business strategy, strategic planning, management consulting or related strategic roles

• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies that have delivered measurable results

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market dynamics

• Excellent project management capabilities with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously

• Demonstrated expertise in market analysis, competitive positioning and strategic planning methodologies

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate strategic concepts to diverse audiences

• Financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting and P&L analysis

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strategic planning tools

• Strong knowledge of the energy, sustainability or related industries is highly advantageous

• Experience working in the Thai business environment or Southeast Asian markets is preferred

• Excellent command of English; Thai language proficiency is a plus
